Echo 4.0.12 Upgrade For Echo Handheld Tools
| We are happy to announce the new 4.0.12 upgrade for Echo Handheld Tools! This new release includes a range of added features including added support for Bing (regular, satellite, and hybrid) maps, as well as Google hybrid maps, added option to show 5G cells in plots, added parameters for Wi-Fi Information Elements, and other improvements. Other added features:
- Added option to set antenna frequency range for IBflex scanner
- Added decoding of NR SCG Failure and NR UE Capabilities RRC messages
- Added Round Trip Time parameter for IMS

- Fixed problem with locking to LTE band 1
- Fixed UMTS channel locking
- Fixed occasional crash when removing workflows
- Fixed some workflows hanging up the UI
- Fixed issue with adding new contacts and contacts not syncing with cloud
- Fixed crash when making gradient color schemes
- Fixed the calculation of NR GSCN parameter
- Fixed wrong GSM scan measurement Cell ID values in CSV export
- Fixed issue with parameter sampling on neighbour array style parameters in KPIs
- Updated MAC address manufacturer lookup list
- Added parameters for Wi-Fi Information Elements
- Improved usability by adding sorting and filtering to various lists
- Improved cell selection dialog by adding sorting and filtering
- Disabled Bluetooth scanning when under Bluetooth remote control to prevent connection issues
- Improved calculation of LTE PDSCH throughput
- Improved obtaining bandwidth for LTE SCells

- Fixed issue with app sometimes hanging when running call script
- Fixed measurement end time after crash recovery
The new version will be pushed to Cloud shortly and it will be offered as an automatic update.
In addition, a tip if you are uncertain about updating: you can always configure the version you want to be installed in the Cloud. The version can be specified on a sub-account basis, so you can assign a different version for one user for verification and propagate the update to the rest of the users once verification testing has been done.
