Echo Trek II is a next-generation custom-designed lightweight backpack solution for drive and walk surveys. It is a convenient, compact, and cost-effective solution that widens the range of benchmarking setups and adds to the convenience of our backpack solutions.

It is a standalone system that comes with slots for 10 phones (size 17.5 x 8 cm, fits up to even 7.58” screen), 2 USB hubs, a mini controller PC, a battery, and its charger. In addition, the backpack II can support 4 more phones externally and includes an improved active ventilation system, and all required customized cables. In conclusion, it enables the use of several different measurement set-ups combining phones up to 10 + 4 devices in one backpack.

Echo Trek II can support a full working day of measurement with the potential of one powerful battery and the backpack’s efficient active cooling system which ensures all included devices operate within their vendor-specified temperature ranges. It is also comfortable to carry with its ergonomic and weight distributing design. Additionally, the backpack weighs only 3.6 kilograms empty (including 2 USB hubs, the mini controller PC, ventilation system, and all the required cables) and is approximately 7.4 kilograms fully equipped making it the lightest backpack solution on the market.

Measurements can be controlled either with an Echo Plus tablet tool or remotely from any location via Cloud. It can also be used as a target for call tests: place one unit with phones in a fixed location and perform calls to the phones from another unit.

Echo Trek II is a low-profile backpack with a fully integrated design that allows measurements to be performed discreetly while avoiding any disturbances. You can take it with you as easily as any backpack to any location to perform measurements: different vehicles; cars, trains, buses; carry it while walking; take it to a rooftop box.

Echo Trek II does not require a PC to perform measurements, therefore, it offers unparalleled flexibility when it comes to mobility in vehicles and public locations. Simply place the whole backpack or only the inner device frame in the designated vehicle or location for measurement.
